The Alchemist Baker, is a small batch family-owned artisan bakery, located in the heart of Canton, MA. We offer freshly baked breakfast pastries & breads, cookies, bars, fruit tarts, desserts, coffee, espresso drinks and teas with a selection of milk options, all made to order.
In today’s world of packaged and processed baked goods loaded with preservatives and artificial flavorings, we strive to offer you only the highest quality pastries. All our pastries are baked with simple ingredients that are easy to spell and pronounce. Everything is hand iced and baked in small batches to really give the essence of simple old fashioned baking. So now you can feel good about eating and sharing them with your family & friends.
Prepared right in front of you in our open kitchen, chef/owner Ambreen seeks out the freshest natural ingredients and transforms them into freshly baked treats and amazing decorated cakes and pastries. All pastries are artfully created with love in a relaxed, warm, inviting environment.

We have a limited selection of pastries available every day on a first come, first serve basis. Our menu is seasonally driven and everything is made fresh daily.

We are a small staffed bakery therefore we request a minimum of 5 business days notice for custom cake orders. Pickup times are arranged around your schedule and some local delivery is possible. Some items can also be shipped within US.
Payment: All major credit cards and cash, are accepted.
Cancellations/Changes to Custom Order: All custom cake and pastry orders are final. Store credit will be issued for cancellations received with proper notice. Your store credit expires one year from the date of issue. NO CASH REFUNDS.
Parking: We offer free parking behind the bakery. Street parking is available on Washington street.
